1. Service Agreement

Caribbean Way Tours & Transfers agrees to provide prepaid transportation services to the client based on the details provided in the booking form. The contract becomes binding once the booking confirmation is sent via email or WhatsApp.

2. Payments and Pricing

• Prices are final and include all taxes, fees, and fuel charges.
• Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (Stripe/PayPal). We do not store financial data.
• Cash payments (USD, EUR, DOP) are only accepted if explicitly agreed upon prior to arrival.

3. Waiting Time Policy

To ensure efficiency, the following waiting times apply:

• Airport Arrivals: The driver will wait up to 60 minutes after your flight lands. We track flight status; however, if you are held at customs/immigration beyond this time, you must contact us immediately via WhatsApp at +1 (829) 752-3952.
• Hotel/Villa Departures: The driver will wait up to 15 minutes past the scheduled pickup time.

4. EU Consumer Rights (Right of Withdrawal)

Important for European Customers: Pursuant to Article 16(l) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal (the standard 14-day cooling-off period) does not apply to contracts for the provision of passenger transport services to be provided on a specific date or period. Therefore, our standard Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings.

5. Luggage & Child Seats

• Luggage: 1 Suitcase + 1 Carry-on per passenger. Excess luggage must be declared.
• Child Seats: Available upon request. Please specify age/weight in the booking notes.

6. Liability & Force Majeure

Caribbean Way is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to: road accidents, severe weather conditions, police operations, or mechanical failure (in which case a substitute vehicle will be provided immediately).

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Puerto Plata.
